iPad App
March 13
I'm not really a hardcore Apple fanboy, but I do have a Macbook Pro Core i7.. so I guess I like their software and hardware. Until now I've not really done anything with the iPad or really iOS development at all. That's all changed now as I'm helping a company in Chicago basically transfer their website from a Flash application to a native iOS app to run on the iPad. It's been pretty easy, I must say. Using the Lua programming language and the Corona SDK I was able to build a picture gallery and about section with sub-sections including animation fades and slides in 4 days from start to finish. If you are a developer and want to knock out an application quick, I definitely recommend the Corona SDK because it exports to iOS and Android platform from the same source files.
- Cheers!
